In the course of operation successfully found combinations of objects are reasonable for uniting in group to shield from possible casual shifts, and also for convenience of the further combinative creations. After all, as it is known, in a good composition all keeps on very exact calculations of a relative positioning of objects and their scale interaction.
Join of objects in group allows to address with it as with separate object. All individual objects entering into group, submit to all actions and the operations, applied to group.
For example, all elements of the logo connected in group, it is possible to move, scale, rotate and fulfill easily all conceivable operations, without caring that casually any object appears out of influence (this situation it is possible, when the objects entering into the logo, are selected sequentially or by means of the shaped frame ? any object can remain not selected, and to it operations) will not be applied.
To place set of objects in group, them it is necessary to select and execute command Group to (Group) menu Object (Object). Command Ungroup is intended For reverse operation to (Group) the same menu.

| Rice 6.22. Object hierarchy in two groups |
The group can be "enclosed", i.e. to have certain hierarchy (fig. 6.22). Magnificent possibility consists In it to build a composition from the separate finished sets of objects which gradually, as required turn on in group. ?????????????? nested group it is carried out upside-down and demands as much stages, how many and its creation.
Tool Selection (Selection) (
) selects all group in independence of on what of objects click is produced. Unfortunately, any information on an amount of objects in group it is not displayed.
In the given version of the program objects and groups are displayed in palette Layers (Layers) the information about which look in chapter 10.
Operation with separate objects of group
The object location in group at all does not mean its full and final "absorption by collective", any object can be at any moment selected and subject transformations.
For selection of object as a part of group (the hierarchy does not play a role) it is necessary to use tool Direct Selection (the Partial selection) (
).
If objects with which it is required to select, are "nested" troupe tool Group Selection (Selection in group in this case is applied) (
), and each new click adds objects of a following level of hierarchy (fig. 6.23?6.25).

At grouping of objects it is necessary to consider that the best variant thus is following of these objects in "pile" for otherwise their order can change and by that to change an overall picture.

| Rice 6.26. In a picture at the left the first and third objects are selected and intended for grouping, in a picture on the right the grouping is fulfilled ? the second object is superimposed by again formed group |
Objects which are located in group, "are tightened" to the object occupying the uppermost position. If between these objects other objects which are not intended for a location in group they are moved below the lowermost object which is included in group are allocated.
This situation can have negative consequences for the objects superimposing each other (fig. 6.26).
Fixation and "concealment" of objects
Besides fixation of position of objects concerning the friend in group there are also other useful functions on support of inviolability of objects ? fixation of objects concerning page, and also their temporal "removal" from the screen.
Objects which are fixed on page or are hidden, already it is impossible to select, and consequently, it is impossible to apply to them of any actions. This possibility especially can be useful by operation with set of superimposing objects.
The fixed objects save this property even after saving of a file and repeated discovery, and the latent objects at repeated discovery lose it and become visible.
To fix the selected objects, it is necessary to execute command Lock to (Fix) menu Object (Object). It is possible to fix, on the contrary, not selected objects, but at performance of command Lock to (Fix) it is necessary to retain pushed a key [Alt].
To hide the selected objects, it is necessary to execute command Hide Selection to (Hide) menu Object (Object). It is possible to hide and not selected objects, but at command performance it is necessary to retain keys [Shift] + [Alt].
To remove fixation of objects, it is enough to execute command Unlock All (to Release all) menu Object (Object). All fixed objects will be simultaneously released". As it is possible to return all latent objects on the screen, executing command Show All (to Show all) menu Object (Object).
If in group there are the fixed or latent objects it is necessary to arrive as follows: to select in group one of objects which is allocatable, and then at a pushed key [Alt] to execute command Unlock All (to Release all) or Show All (to Show all), accordingly.
Objects and groups in palette Layers
In the given version of the program some generalization and the general-purpose approach to objects, groups and layers is accepted. All these three levels can be controlled from uniform "panel" ? palettes Layers (Elephant) (fig. 6.27).
The detail information about palette Layers (Layers) look in chapter 10.
